Starting January 2026, the Krakow Museum is introducing major updates to the ticketing system for one of Kraków’s most visited museums – the Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory. The changes are aimed at improving access to tickets for individual visitors and preventing the widespread reselling of tickets at inflated prices.
As a tour company that regularly brings visitors to Schindler’s Factory, we welcome these updates and believe they will make the experience smoother and fairer for everyone.
Here’s a summary of what’s new:
🎟️ Named Tickets for Online Sales
From 2026, all tickets purchased online will be personalized – similar to the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum. This means that when buying a ticket via the internet, visitors will need to provide their full name, and that name will appear on the ticket. This step is meant to combat the resale of tickets by third parties and ensure that more real tourists – not bots – get access to the museum.
🧾 Tickets Bought at the Counter – Still Available
Prefer to buy your ticket in person? That option remains unchanged, but with a small twist:
- Tickets purchased at the museum’s ticket office will not require a name, but…
- They’ll be valid only for 15 minutes from the time of purchase, so spontaneous visits will require quick entry.
🔁 Combined Ticket for 3 Museums
Great news for history lovers – from 2026, your ticket to Schindler’s Factory will also grant you entry to two other important branches of the Kraków Museum:
- Pharmacy Under the Eagle
- Pomorska Street (Gestapo Headquarters)
And this combined ticket will be valid for 7 days, giving you more time and flexibility to explore Kraków’s WWII history.
💰 New Ticket Prices – More Expensive, but More Value
Starting January 2, 2026, Schindler’s Factory tickets will see a significant price increase. The standard individual ticket will rise from 40 PLN to 60 PLN, and other categories will be adjusted accordingly:
- Standard ticket – 60 PLN
- Discounted ticket – 40 PLN
- Family ticket – 120 PLN
- Group ticket (standard) – 46 PLN
- Group ticket (discounted) – 26 PLN
While this is a noticeable jump in price, the ticket will now include entry to two additional museums – Pharmacy Under the Eagle and Pomorska Street (Gestapo Headquarters) – valid for 7 days. This means more historical content and greater value for visitors who want to dive deeper into Kraków’s WWII past.
Tickets for 2026 visits will start appearing in the system from October 2025.
⏰ Online Ticket Sales – Schedule:
- Group tickets – available 90 days in advance, sales open at 8:00 AM
- Individual tickets – also available 90 days in advance, sales open at 9:00 AM
