The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Poland, located just outside the city of Krakow. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has been in operation for over 700 years.

Pick-up

First, I’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Krakow and we’ll head straight to the town of Wieliczka (about 30 minutes)

Tour of Wieliczka Town

Once we arrive, your driver-guide will show you some of the highlights and hidden gems of Wieliczka: St Clement’s Church, the courtyard of the ‘Zupny’ Castle, John Paul II Park and the town’s main square (45 mins).

Tour of the Salt Mine

After a walk we’ll reach the main shaft building, where a local guide will take you on a 2-2.5 hour tour of the mine’s underground chambers and tunnels, explaining the site’s history and significance.

Return to Krakow

After your tour of the Salt Mine, your driver will take you back to Krakow. Along the way, you can relax in the comfortable vehicle and reflect on your unforgettable experience.
