The former camp is located approx. 70 km from Kraków and you will get there on a comfortable car with your private professional driver who is also a local guide in Kraków.

Pick-up
We’ll pick you up from your address in Kraków. Please indicate the preferred meeting place in the booking form.
The tour may start between 5:30 and 1:00 pm.
Driving to Auschwitz Museum
Drive on a comfortable private car with a local experienced driver-guide to Auschwitz Museum (70 km, about 1,5h).
Ask any questions about the Polish history or Poland nowadays to your driver-guide.
Visit to Auschwitz I
Upon arrival you’ll be given a short refreshment break and then your driver-guide will help you to go through all the ticket and security checks at the first part of the Museum called Auschwitz I
There are two options for visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum:
- To join join a regular shared group of about 30 individual tourists. The Museum runs English-speaking tours every half an hour
- To arrange a private Museum guide just for your group
Both options take about 2 hours inside Auschwitz I
Short break
After the guided tour of Auschwitz I there will be about 10-20 minutes of a break
Visit to Birkenau
Auschwitz II (Birkenau) is another part of the former mass extermination camp that you will visit with your guide. Your experience at Birkenau will take about one hour. There is a short transfer to get there from Auschwitz I.
One more Birkenau site
After the guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau you will meet your driver-guide who will take you to one of the original sites of Birkenau that is never shown during the regular tours organized by the Museum. It will take additinal 10-15 minutes.
Transfer back to Krakow
Your way back to Krakow will take about 1,5 hours. The drop-off point may be your hotel/accommodation or any other place agreed with a driver during the tour
